3 Minute Thesis – U of A

I had the pleasure of photographing an event for the University of Alberta called the 3 Minute Thesis. It was the second year the event was taking place at the U of A and they had upgraded their venue to Convocation Hall and pulled out all the stops for a first class event. This was the finals and these Grad Students had only 3 minutes to present their entire thesis to a crowd of onlookers and judges. To put that in perspective to present an entire thesis it would require 9 hours and with only 3 minutes you can imagine the pressure, concentration and preparation that went into each presentation! Kudos to the winner Oluwakemi Amodu from Nursing!
